no, thats not how warfare links work, they only support the local area. as in the 350-400km range that things appear in (i dont know the actual distance) also you cant fit more than 3 warfare links.

also my drone skills are quite good so i can do some hefty clean up possibly take tractor and salvager for the high's just to give me something to do (repeat from edit of previous post cos internet at work is s****y)

Your lack of knowledge regarding links tells me that you should not try to fly a command ship until you know how they work. Links work throughout the entire system. You can fit more than 3 on a CS (or more than 1 on a BC) by fitting a Command Processor mid-slot item. But they use a crap-ton of CPU, like 100tf.

If you want an on-grid fleet booster, a Damnation is a better choice due to it's EHP bonuses. The Eos is more of a small fleet skirmish booster. But, tbh, it may be fine for what you're trying to do because it get bonuses to local reps, which work well in smaller gangs and for PvE.

Please do not waste your CPU using a salvager and tractor on a CS. There's this thing called a Mobile Tractor Unit that you can anchor that will tractor all the wrecks to it and even loot the cans for you.

thank you for your message, althrough i dont shun any ciriticism, i do take exception when people dont actually READ... i did mention that i was asking because i dont know as much about this stuff as i would like to begin using it and i wanted a broader selection of opinions than just mine.

in addition in my next post (or close to) i acknowledged my ignorance to command processors and thanked the commentor of that post.

with regards to your 'damnation' idea again i already said that my guns skills are lacking, my drone skills are amazing (the reason i went with the Eos over the Astarte) and that i can already fly gallente command ships... your idea makes no sense why would i train for a ship that doesnt utilize the best of my already abundant skills but requires me to train in almost completely the wrong direction? it makes no sense!?

lastly your comment about the mobile tractor unit is actually valid... i hadnt even thought to look at other ways, however i have no need for those high slots as i cant fit the guns anyway and everyone else will be doing the damage around me... im quite happy sitting there and being useful in some otherway...... this all being said thank you again for your reply. your time in considering some of these posts means a lot to me.

For off grid boosting i would use a Myrmidon as its alot cheaper then an eos. Links depending on ships you and your mates use.

Myrmidon
Co-Processor II

For small fleets i would use the eos as the heavy tackler in gang, well capable of defending it self until your mates arrive! Just pop a strong exile booster and your set mate.

Medium Ancillary Armor Repairer, Nanite Repair Paste
Corelum B-Type Medium Armor Repairer
Damage Control II
Corelum B-Type Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Drone Damage Amplifier II

Experimental 10MN Microwarpdrive I
Domination Warp Scrambler
Federation Navy Stasis Webifier
Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Navy Cap Booster 400

Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M
