NPC cap usage

hey,
can anyone tell me whether or not NPC's use capacitor for their guns (non-projectile)/prop/ewar/rep etc.

I'm wondering if I could cap out the sansha/blood raiders burners.......

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Don't know about burners but you can nos normal rats for cap if you're stuck.

You can't cap them out but you can effect them negatively with neuts, I think it slows their active rep.

You can NOS NPC's. It's ideal if you are tight on cap.


That said, you should assume that all NPC ships have a role bonus of 100% Reduction in Cap Usage for All Modules. Donno about burners, but in all other cases you will never stop them.

thanks guys.... that being said, what's the best way to slow the succubus burner down then if I can't cap it out?

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

boosts and overheating only increae the web range. but yea webs are your friend against the succubus

yeah, but how many webs does it take to slow it down? I was dual webbing it, in a MWD frig, and still not keeping up, until it got out of jam range of my kitsune (yes, I was dualboxing), and turned back on me...... any suggestions?
2x 60% webs are clearly not enough...

No, they do not

Do NPC ships have capacitor energy?

Yes they do, and the mechanic works in a somewhat similar fashion as player ships when you are using a nosferatu energy drain module on them, meaning the energy you can drain isn't infinite / unlimited

The exact details of how NPC's operate is not disclosed, but keep in mind: NPC's don't 'cheat', they do, however, play by different rules.

It's definately a good idea to try it but it would be stupid as **** to have designed a sucubus that would not be using an AB...

Well it was that or put a fednavy web on a frigate, whitch is mad.

I do see your point but if the web's aren't working...

Rules like Signature Resolution and Max Targetting range; like stacking penalties on Sensor Damps and Tracking Disruptors (ignoring that they still use pre-nerf damps and TDs)...
