CREST Alliance Data and Industry Data

Hi,

I hit this CREST endpoint...

https://public-crest.eveonline.com/alliances/

... and then tried to search for some of the well known alliances listed here in http://evewho.com/alli/.

I managed to find Northern Associates but none of the others listed in EveWho were present e.g. searching for "Goonswarm Federation" yielded no results. Am I missing something?

Additionally, I got a list of Industrial Facilties using https://public-crest.eveonline.com/industry/facilities/. Each facility has an Owner Id field. What data does this link to and is this data available through CREST ?

My first guess is that you only pulled the first page and searched that. There are 13 pages in the alliance list!

Any thoughts on the owner of an industrial facility? It doesn't look like the id is an alliance id as they all seem to start with 9.

Now you get into the unfinished aspects of CREST.

In general it doesn't really use IDs, they're more integral to the SDE and the XML API. More importantly, the corp and character endpoints haven't been released yet, only alliances

The characterName endpoint of the XML will convert an ownerID to a name. Despite the name it's not just for characters.

I tested the first one and it came back with Ammatar Consulate. I suspect that there will be some of the 6215 facilities that have an alliance as the owner (or corp)
