Sometimes manufacturing the ship can turn out wrong like a missile boat that fires projectile. But the ship if it's a drake shouldn't be called a drake it should be something else. Because a drake is a drake.

Probably where the materials efficiency comes in for making a carbon copy of a ship. Should such a thing happen it would probably be an unbonused hull, and be reprocessed by the producer as unsellable "scrap." There your ship has a name, and a reason that you don't see them hit the market. Production is done from flawless bpc's by unfailing robotics,and made from the highest grade ores. No sweatshops in eve(well,maybe amarr)
