AKCHUALLY
being red changes your lowsec experience in that you don't have to get aggro to be shootable, this can change the way tackling on gates happens.
Still, sec lower than -5 means lowsec denizen and only costs a couple hundred mil to get back to fly anywhere status so what's the whine?

Goggles. Making me look good. Making you look good.

this.

and make it harder for rats to give you sec status because i dont want to look like a carebear

Rats has destroyed my pvp-ers sec status Cry
So +1 for this excellent suggestion Pirate

0.0 rats don't up your sec ... (or do they?)

They do. Ratting is the long way out of sec status "problems".

Ooh, I always thought that only applied in Empire (Lo/Hi). Didn't think sec status got cured out in 0.0. Learning day today :)

Yep, they do. Anything with a bounty comes with security status bumps coinciding with the bounty ticks.

No whine on my part, I just don't understand the gameplay reason to tax lowsec regulars for highsec access.

Practical result is:

- Yes you can easily fix your sec status if you plan to spend time in highsec...

- ...but it's definitely not worth the ISK just to pop your head in highsec from time to time

So basically lowsec regulars just almost never go to highsec. Which is no biggie, but why? Wouldn't lowsec guys (usually decent solo/small gang pvp-ers) spice up highsec a bit? Offering some sweet explosions (among them) for newbies to watch, playing with highsec mercs, maybe joining some wars as defenders just to mess with war-deccing corps?

My suggestion would be: keep sec status penalties as they are, but ditch Faction Police (not CONCORD, obviously). Let players deal with 'criminals' or let criminals duke it out among themselves.

Ah, hello number 661. You've got a long way to go.

Let's get down to podding, to defeat the carebears!
As number 1 in that list, I agree.

I also love killing pods and think the hit from them is fine. If you don't like it, then don't do it. Pirate

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

Actually one change could be to remove sec hits for ship kills in low sec and have them only on pods there.

This could have the effect of more ship PvP in low and still allow those involved to frequent High now and then.

I think the only thing worse than care bears whining that the ore in their hold doesn't sell itself and they can die after afk for hours mining is PVPers that whine about a profession they chose and an act that they decide to commit knowing the mechanics.

Adapt to the system your in or learn how to change/avoid it.

Mostly just stop whining.

Always nice to see your two-cents. Change please. Cool

We must accommodate the idiocracy.
