Hi all,

I'n the next few days, i'll have my tengu skilled up and i'm looking to go into Wormhole data/relic sites and I have a few question.

when I look at ites like eve survival and eve uni, they say that a given ship is the trigger, but it says theres two of them, is the trigger a random one or the last one left?

What actually drops from the data/relic sites? Is it just the stuff to reverse engineer sleeper stuff, or other things as well?

would an all in one fit that could run the sites and hack be advisable, or run the first wave, leave the trigger, drop a mobile depot, refit and then start hacking?

what would you recommend for a tengu fit for C1 and C2 as I want to cut my teeth before going into a C3.

Cheers.

i feel like a tengu is super overkill for c1 and overkill for c2. my 2 cents.

as far as your fit goes, you should consider refitting instead. best of luck being a space magnet :)

tengu for c1 is overkill and would take navy vexor. but if you want tengu in c1 thats ok. but better are c3 or c4 holes . for beginning c1 or c2 is great starter.

c1 data.relics have weak sleepers so you just can opens containers and then kill sleepers. c2 and c3 you can kill evrything else but keep trigger alive and hack containers be aware that sometimes starting hacking or if hacking fails , sleepers may spawn up but not means they will.

Last one is trigger. You'll make way more isk just running anoms in a C1-2.

apparently there's some nice isk to be made doing the C2/C1 data sites that have a chance to spawn the Small Talocan cans. out of the couple I've checked on, none have spawn for me though :(

If you going caldari boats, the caracal and cerberus are great, Drake works and is easier with a standard passive tank.
tengu is overkill but fastest way.
caracal/cerb can be fit passive speed tank or with medium shield booster and ab around, its not as laid back as drake to fly but more exciting when your shields drop down alot Big smile

Just go into a C3. Been taking my imicus(can't yet fly t2 and SOE ships are just stupid expensive for me atm) through them for a bit now making good money. Play smart and you'll be fine. A couple tips I can give; (these are if you are in a ship like I am where any combat is most certainly death)

dip your toes at each site before diving in. Scan down the relic/data site then warp in at 100 that way if there are rats you have a large enough gap to get out before/just as they are locking target and heading your way. This can double as a means of scouting out for other players. If they're actively hacking they may be paying too much attention to that to notice you appearing on grid and you might be able to warp in, evaluate the situation and warp out before they notice you were ever there.

It can be hard but you really need to divide your attention while hacking. Every other node or so refresh your d-scan with it set close enough it will pick up someone coming your way. Watch the overview for the same reasons. As soon as someone is on grid you need to be able to gtfo asap.

This guide helped me out A LOTOhhh look a link

Edit: I feel like I'm advertising for the dude but he just has a lot of helpful info out there. If you aren't already you should look into using tripwire. It's helped me more than a few times remembering routes and other things. Links for the link throne!

That's the point. I have found some intact small hulls the last months, while most people were still ignoring lo class relic sites. However, the prices are going down already as the demand for T3 destroyers is decreasing.
