We're currently under war-dec and am not really recruiting currently due to that, I just don't want the thread to be auto-closed since it hasn't been bumped in months.

Bumped thread please ignore.

We'll be recruiting again (with a completely rewritten first post! EXCITING!) soon.

Did you know: In the 1990s, there were more North Korean women holding government positions than there were American women holding comparable positions in the U.S.

Obviously this means we should all strive to be a bit more like North Korea. Well, I'm happy to report that RITES is well ahead of that curve. We've been rationing food and trying to stay as far away from other spaceship entities as possible. Swing by [SOUND] chat today and we can further talk about all the benefits of our glorious collective, all hail!

PS. By the way, the killboard banner I made for winter 2015 is easily the best damn killboard banner in the history of ever, I do declare.

Did you know: When a blue whale dives into the water, its head is already deeper than most scuba divers dare to go before its tail leaves the surface of the water

Because divers are all pansies, really. Blue Whales are way more hardcore than divers. Want to dive deeper into EVE? Tired of dealing with shallow people? The solution, my friend, is to swing by [SOUND] chat and dip your tail into a conversation today.

Did you know: Archeologist Leonard Woolley asserts that the fear of black cats, measuring time into 12 hours for each day and each night, and reading our fortunes in the constellation were all invented in Iraq

So basically nothing of any worth whatsoever. Yay Iraq! Known for irrational fears, irrational prognostication and a way to measure time that is absolutely not as good as the 24 hour clock. In EVE, constellations are really useful too. Totally. Or... hm. Speaking of useful, [SOUND] chat is super useful if you're looking for a corp. Swing by today!

Did you know: The average projected lifespan of those born in Hawaii in the year 2000 is 79.8 years (77.1 years if male; 82.5 if female), longer than the residents of any other state

Shocking information that people who live in a literal paradise end up living longer. Next up to study: Do people who eat high-quality food have a better attitude? Is it good to be rich? How much longer do people last playing EVE when they visit [SOUND] chat today to have a recruitment conversation? I mean, these are all obvious questions with obvious answers. C'mon.

Did you know: At various times in history, left-handedness has been seen as many things: a nasty habit, a mark of the devil, a sign of neurosis, rebellion, criminality, and homosexuality. It has also been seen as a trait indicating creativity and musical abilities.

Amazingly, somehow all of these beliefs ended up being true. We still recruit left-handed people though, because hey, it's not their fault they were born that way. As long as they don't demonstrate their left-handedness around children and cause more children to become left-handed, then they're fine by us! Grab your mouse with either hand in-game and put [SOUND] into the join chat channel window. We'll be sure to steer you the right way, no matter your physical handicaps.

Did you know: There is a connection between bullying and being exposed to violence. Unfortunately, by the time an average child enters kindergarten, he will have witnessed 8,000 murders on television

Don't see what the big problem is personally, since I had murdered more than eight thousand people prior to kindergarten and I turned out just fine! Plus in EVE, you often die quite a lot before you learn anything. Hell, you, yeah you, probably have died before you learned to swing by [SOUND] chat so we can have a recruitment conversation and you still put on your pants one leg at a time, right? Right.

You rang?

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Hello, I stopped by the public channel today and it looked like no one was available. I just wanted to make a post here, for the record, that I will stop back into the public channel later today after I get some work done and see if anyone is available to chat. Feel free to drop me a mail in game, or add me to the watch list and convo me when I am online. Looking forward to speaking with someone.

(Usually is someone available, just depends on when you dropped by. One thing to always do is say hello when logging into the channel, so we know someone is needing to be spoken with)

Did you know: It is illegal in Tennessee for an atheist to hold office

My, would the founding fathers have appreciated that. It is exactly why most of them fled Merry ol' England. Of course, we don't allow anyone from Tennessee to hold a leadership position in our corp either, so I guess it's all square at the end of the day. Swing by [SOUND] chat today, even if you're from Tennessee, we'll try not to hold your excellent BBQ or blues against you.

Did you know there is a town in Perth & Kinross, Scotland called "Dull" it is twinned with town of "Boring" in Oregon and in 2013 "Bland" in New South Wales Australia joined in to create a "League of Extraordinary Communities".

We are also an extraordinary community in RITES and we are definitely not dull, boring or bland. Come join us in [SOUND] public channel to find out more
