Interesting. Though from records, it seems like the previous conferences were empire circlejerks. I don't hope for this one being much different.

One can only presume that you read superficially then, Ms. Polevhia and that your analysis is lacking as a result. It's an open invitation to attend - you are most welcome to attend and if you have research of any relevance to present feel free to submit it for consideration.

If you decide against either attending or presenting research I suppose we will just have to find a means to deal with our disappointment.

I'll keep an eye on what is presented most likely. But I am not a researcher of the level of most of those who have attended in the past. Most of my experiments have been minor in scope. But if I make any discoveries that I think might be of some benefit to disseminate amid the general population I will apply for a spot at the soonest SeyCon.

I didn't mean to imply there isn't fascinating research and discoveries being shared. I just wonder about motives of past organizers and if there might be a trend.

Evi, I can certainly understand your concern. One of the reasons that Repracor stepped forward to become involved with the Conference was to ensure a venue free of political agendas. It is our intention to keep the Conference free of political agendas. I hope you have some faith in Repracor's firm neutral position.

The pilots of 4TUNA are quite interested in the furtherance of scientific pursuit. We will have a delegation, though we have nothing to present at this time.

Also, it should be pointed out that this would be "SeyCon117," not 116.

Dr. Quattras Alvar Peione

No, I'm not that kind of doctor.

A fair point, given the limited focus of the last conference and the restriction placed on delegate attendance which I was never in favour of. As far as I am aware though Seycon3 was the only time such a restriction had been in place and it is certainly not on the agenda this time around.

Again, despite any personal ideological differences that might exist between delegates, we've tried to shape this conference towards what SeyCon was originally intended for - a forum for open exchange of ideas and collaborative research. You will be most welcome to attend in that spirit either as an observer or active participant.
