Cyn's are pretty tough. Honestly though Minn BC's and smaller are still very effective and broadly used in my experience lately. Then again I always say fly whatever you want and have fun. Legion's anyone?? :)

Depends on what you want to do. Nano isn't as terrible as it was after the nano-nerf. Blasters are now pretty viable since the blaster-buff.

The Curse is still the end all, be all, anything solo will run from you.

Drake is still a fairly forgivable ship to fly which can do well bricked or nano.

Hurricane is still doing good, good enough that a ton of nerfmatards think it needs to be nerf'd.

It depends on if you are running cheap, solo, small gang, etc.

100mn Tengu is an amazing ship these days.

Cynabal isn't Minmatar.

Its Angel which is Gallente/Minmatar.

Funny how people complaining about Min ships always like to lump the Dram and Cynabal into that group.

To be fair most complaints are more aimed towards projectiles than matar hulls, and the angel ships also uses projs.

Generally all they whine about is usually the angle ships and vaga.

Which is hilarious, because the Hurricane could be said to be more OP than any of them (armor 'Cane > armor Harbinger in more ways than one, I betcha...)

Long range webs everywhere and overloaded propulsion mods kicked one of minnie's traditional advantages in the nuts in the smallish hull range.

The other traditional advantage aka "flexibility", tho, we still maintain. We can enjoy flying ships with split weapon systems so that we can put more SPs and waste more lows just to approach other races.

I always thought your reading comprehension was better than that. The proper conclusion was that the Deimos puts out more DPS at meaningful ranges while maintaining an equivalent tank and pretty damn good mobility. This means that the Deimos is certainly competitive in the realm of nano HAC faggotry.

Remember, the down side was that you traded away some speed (not agility) and shield EHP (not total EHP) for dramatically better damage.

Please define "meaningful ranges" and "damn good mobility" used to apply this "dramatically better damage."Lol

So it just so happens I have these numbers somewhat handy despite being at work. It looks like the Deimos outdamages the Vaga out to 27km and can go up to 2400 m/s.

Ed: Hey BTW, I was on in Amamake all night last night waiting for you to show up in a Vagabond and show me how it beats a Deimos.

You never showed up.

Oh? Maybe I did show up. Vaga, or Winmatar in general, isn't exactly rare. Not sure of the neighborhood though, tbh. Eve has local cultures. Don't tell me you actually undocked in a Diemost. Did it pop?Lol

In any case, how do you get 2.4km/s out of a Diemost? It should be 2km/s with 2 nanos. Deadspace mwd? More than 2 nanos? Overheat? Regardless, it's not going to catch vaga or cynabal that goes to 3km/s with normal mwd without overheat. As for more dps at 27km, is that neutrons with stacked tes and null against failfit with low range ac ammo?Roll

There wasn't a Vagabond in system all night. You didn't show up. Also, feel free to come show me that I'll never catch a Vaga. :)
