O.O

That was in response to this:

That's quite the large assumption.

Uh-oh...a big woman joke. Why do people assume any woman who games has to be 250 lbs and ugly? lol Shocked

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..

I'm going to save that quote and post it every time you do one of your shrill whiny posts demanding that other players cater to your personal vision of the game.

I sense I'll be using it a lot.

Mr Epeen Cool
I too shall save it but being one of the shrill, whingy harpies, I notice other people, especially particular individuals less. P

Possibly because the thought that the person that beat you is also better looking and thinner than you are is just too much to handle.

Not to mention the long luscious hair, the sparkling blue eyes, their exemplary taste in decorating, such as a pink room, glitter mouse, lace around their screen and using the same urinals as you. P

Firstly, how would you know whether a player was a female or not?

Secondly, why should it matter?

Thirdly, I remember the first day I joined Factional warfare. The word R-A-P-E was used quite frequently to describe defeat of one player by another. As a member of HER majesty's HOLY and righteous 'good guy' boy scout Militia, I took offense to this. Predictably, I was laughed at.

So maybe, a female player has better things to do than listen to a bunch of teenaged boys blow up each other's pixel spaceships while listening to the word 'R-A-P-E' being used in such a casual and dismissive manner.

I did meet one woman who quit not only EVE, but online video games in general specifically for this reason, namely the casual misogyny. You get enough of it in the workplace as well as the streets, you don't need to pay $20 a month to hear it in your own home as well.
Good post.

I used to tell people that I am an AI escaped from Google Labs and refused to give them any gender identification.

With the ongoing feminization of men, this issue will eventually be resolved.

It doesn't matter.

So teenaged BOYS were talking about sexually assaulting each other (anally or orally, one would assume), and that somehow became misogyny against the one woman who quit not just this game, but because it's everywhere online she quit the whole internet.

How do you feel about other commonly used internet jargon, for example mofo, fap, or the f-bomb?

Whenever i make a new toon (always female btw) i spend like 10-20mins in the character creator with them only wearing underwear and zooming in and out and rotating the body around.

I wish you didnt have to wear shirts/pants on ur toons when u take the pic also.

I wish more girls played this game too

If u female, hit my evemail up. M/21/6'6" 9" 180lbs xoxo

Because I used to go to cons, so that isn't an assumption. It's the general rule, although I freely agree that there are always exceptions.

I'm OK with women in EVE until they start tweeting about why they get so much attention, what's the problem, etc.

Anyway, does anyone know why most women's femme avatars are ugly? They of all people...

Fat neckbeards making fat women jokes. Look at any Fanfest footage to see examples of the type of guys that make these jokes. I cringe when watching these morbidly obese mouth breathers waddling between events stuffing soda and Twinkies into their gaping maws.

This thread just keeps getting better and better.

Please continue.

There are some skinny neckbeards that forget to eat and their scraggly hair looks more like they glued it on from shavings they took from down below. Blink

I'm 6'2" and 205lbs, but thanks for projecting. I'm surprised you took as long as you did to enter the thread, normally I'd have expected to see you biting ankles on page 1.

Can we start talking about how male avatars are often as macho, stern, angry and such as possible with the sharpest features?
