This one effectively replaces the Noctis, price in T2 materials will be around the price of a Noctis, all existing ships can be switched around. The Primae hull always seemed like a choice of convenience rather than intent. A destroyer sized hull would be much more appropriate and a T2 ship more fitting to the highly specialized role and level of efficiency it has. Maybe switch the T1 drone yield bonus for salvage access, drop bay to 25 and drop all turrets, but make it a 8/4/2 slot layout, which is above what a destroyer sized hull usually sports. Improve cargo to around 1-1.5k.

The Primae as it should have been. A fully focused planetary interaction supporting ship. Sure, it's not a hauler, but the 10k base commodity hold is more than enough for moving products from the planets to the home base. The 3/4/4 slot layout is more than compensated for with a low 150m signature radius, high sensor strength of 30 and a 3 AU/s warp speed. All existing Primae get changed to a Primae ORE Development Edition skin.

I would give the destroyer a much smaller bonus to tractor beam range and velocity, say, 20% per level. It will be much faster than the Noctis, especially with a MWD. I sometimes prefer a combat destroyer for salvaging over a Noctis, just because that high mobility is excellent for salvage in areas that are spread far enough for even a Noctis to need to move around. So it doesn't need the range of the Noctis. Another way to do it could be to boost tractor beam range only slightly while mostly just increasing their speed. If it had +10% tractor beam range and +60% tractor beam velocity per level, it would have a max range of 36km but could tow wrecks as fast as 2400m/s, and could pull a wreck across its whole range in just 15 seconds, or 4 cycles.


I think the planetary command center hold should have a base size of 1000m3 and be increased by 1000m3 for each level of the Interplanetary Consolidation skill. It should definitely increase in increments of 1000m3 though.

I was thinking it'd be great if the original Primae were given both the command center hold like I mentioned, and had its commodities hold increased a lot (say, +2000m3/level) based on the level of the Command Center Upgrades skill, thus making the ship fairly insignificant to a trial account, but useful to any new player trying PI on a subscribed account. The ship could be given free to anyone who upgrades from a trial account.
