Hey Guys/Gals

I just though I would give you a heads up after the recent small patch I've been having a lot of eve stop responding errors

Finally I decided to look into it and EVE seems to sucking up all my RAM. Once it gets to about 3.5 GB it crashes out.

Along with that im getting an event report as below

Can you give us any details on what you are doing in-game before this happens?

We are currently aware of one memory leak, which is happening in asteroid belts (and other sites with asteroids) when shooting many missiles, while the new asteroid environment effects are enabled.
Workaround: Disable asteroid environment effects (in graphics settings).
A fix for this problem is already in testing on Singularity.

Hi Habakuk

I was running anomalies in MY-T2P / GEKJ-9. Using an Ishtar with the below fitting

Drone Link Augmentor II
2x Large Shield Extender II
Drone Navigation Computer II
100MN Afterburner II
Pith A-Type Thermic Dissipation Field
Omnidirectional Tracking Enhancer II
2x Drone Damage Amplifier II
2x Imperial Navy Drone Damage Amplifier
2x Medium Core Defense Field Purger II

Using Wasp Tech 2 Drones

The anomalies being ran were Guristas Havens & Guristas Rally Points

Orbiting on a spawned object at 50KM with after burner running

It would start out as normal around the 700 MB mark, then it would go up in about 1 mb increments every second.

Hope this is detail enough for you :)

FYI a repair did not resolve the issue but a redownload of the client did

Please try to disable the asteroid environment in graphics settings. Guristas are shooting missiles like crazy and as far as I can remember some Guristas Havens include asteroids.

I can confirm disabling asteroid environment in graphics settings did resolve my issue.

I will test it again turned back on tonight and update both the bug tracker and forum post if this is now reoslved
