Updating OS X Bug

Hi Mac Capsuleers,

I've noticed a consistent pattern on my system, and wanted to ask if peeps are seeing the same thing.

Everytime I update Mac OS X, EVE stops working.

I delete the Application Support folder associated with EVE and EVE starts working again. This has happened to me 4 times, each time when i updated the OS (currently running latest 10.10.2).

This leads me to think:

1) something about the OS update process is corrupting the EVE App Support folder (Apple's fault)

or

2) something about how EVE is setup causes a corruption during the normal update process (CCP's fault)

Of course it could be something entirely else, but I'm just reporting what I've seen and what it implies. It would be great to fix, because Apple regularly pushes updates (especially security updates) -- maybe not as often as CCP updates EVE, but enough that having to lose my settings regularly is a pain point.

Anyhoo, hope this helps in some way.

OK so that previous post got no response, but here is another issue I'm seeing consistently.

Since installing Yosemite (and nuking my settings), running EVE is fine. Until you quit and run it later. Then it runs with a framerate about 50% less than normal.

Rebooting the Mac fixes this, but as soon as you close EVE, then run it again, the framerate drops.

Which means I've got a computer I restart several times a day, instead of once every few weeks/months.

Sigh...maybe CCP has a Mac programmer somewhere in their org who will read this forum. xD
