The parallels are amazing. The whole Universe is assets, Corporations and profits are the crux of everything. Get in to character when you sit down, treat the movie like a seminar for how to be a successful CEO. It really made the movie a different affair for me because I was learning from the 'bad guy' and it was so EVE to do so.

Yeah, corporate takeover of reality. What a new idea. I wonder if George Orwell woulda thought it was cute. Or, perhaps Hermann Hesse may have been impressed with it. Or, even that B-scale author, Philip K. D!ck (whose name gets censored by yet another corporation!)

And (Koch Brothers) what would happen to a free society if the corporate weenies ever got control???

By the way. What planet are you from? I'd love to visit one day. Cool

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Someone mentioned it had minmatar (ish) ships.. Which makes me interested, so off to search I go!

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

I didn't really see any ship design that reflected EVE bloodlines. The ships did use a warp system similar to our cyno concepts but mostly it was all parallels that ended in Sci-fi only. The movie has a lot of inspiration potential but you need to incorporate ideas without cloning concepts from either source material.

as to the previous comment, it's out of context rants with Orwell at the center. My imagination is my greatest gift. Because I can enjoy it and not lose my grip on reality. I feel sorry for people who can't.

What would be really amazing is if I could make Mila Kunis in the character creator.

Drink 20 shots of Jim Beam and you'll realise that you've already made her in the character creator!

I'm just waiting to see how long it takes someone to start using names from the movie for their character.

Eve is like an addiction; you can't quit it until it quits you. Also, iderno

I really like the theme of this movie but am concerned that although the plot and storyline look good the actors would be the same flavor of some of the modern movies like twilight where a good story is destroyed by a bunch of poor clone young actors with no character delivering zero content where dialog and personality are concerned. Am I to be convinced that Jupiter manages to step outside the box that modern cinema has created to satisfy modern western teenagers?

I truly do want to enjoy this flick but have as of yet been convinced that it will be worth my time.

Sean Bean is in it. If you don't care for the plot or actors you go just to see how he dies this time.

He should star in A Movie Too Far.

I was going to say that it is foggy outside and I can't see across the street, much less try spot a planet. P

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I saw it this weekend, the graphics were great, the story line sucked, and could the 'bad guy" sound more like a boring whiney *****? I mean WTF was with the low disinterested voice? I wanted someone to shoot him in the head the moment he opened his damn mouth.

Now with that, did anyone notice in the scene where they go to the over populated world on the Edris (sp?) that the jump portal looks nearly exactly like an amarrian gate?

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

The ship was the Aegis.

Yeah, I saw that same similarity with the gate. The movie's plot didn't have anything new or innovative, but it was a fun flick.

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.
