Hi,

I've got a nice but ageing setup running a GeForce GTX650 2GB DDR5 across a Dell 24" at 1900x1200 and a secondary generic 19" monitor running at 1440x900. I have two Eve accounts regularly running simultaneously, one on each screen using Fixed Windows.

I've just taken delivery of a 2nd hand Dell Ultrasharp 30" which is obviously going to become my primary monitor at 2560x1600 res.

My first thought was to get another 650 GTX and make an SLI config, but would I be better off buying a (not much more expensive) GTX 750 and dedicating that to the 30" screen while using the 650 for the 24"?

SLI/Crossfire allows you to use multiple gfx cards in the same application (with some downsides). Since you'll be running two independent clients, you're better off with the faster 750 for the higher resolution screen without SLI.
