I'm looking to take my carrier into WH space soon for some ratting with sleepers. I've been searching for references to fits for a well skilled pilot. But I have no idea what kind of fit I would need. I'm looking for some insight. I've found mentions of other carriers doing this, but none for the Nid.

Even if you don't have a Nid fit to share, if you've flown carriers in WH yourself please share what relevant knowledge you can.

Thanks.

5 seconds of google.

You're welcome.

Pretty much this yea.
Just keep in mind you'll be doing ~20% less dps with the fighters.

We should be nurturing and encouraging such behaviour. Then complain when we don't get to bash open the pinata when it meets it's demise.

It would be slow. I would recommend solo in a dread before a carrier. And you will get dropped, 100% probability. You will lose that carrier. So you need to have spares, or the isk for spares. See my corps killboard from a few weeks ago.

Also there is a bit involved with setting up the sites, and getting it right. And then there is the ever present danger of evictions.

So long story short. Probably better to see if a corp in a C5 wants you. if you have never lived in a WH before there really is a lot of other stuff you need to know than what people here are going to talk about.

AKA the scientist.

Well fun is also good.

Although, I wont recommend it until you know the ins and outs of wh space. A well-fitted niddy can pull it off but it will be a bit slower compared to a thanny.

[Nidhoggur, nid] 2473dps/ 6260dps tank before boosts

4x Drone Control Unit I

Capital Neutron Saturation Injector I
2x Pithum B-Type Adaptive Invulnerability Field
2x Pith A-Type Shield Boost Amplifier

3x Federation Navy Drone Damage Amplifier
3x Capacitor Flux Coil II

Capital Capacitor Control Circuit I
2x Capital Capacitor Control Circuit II

13x Templar
1x Templar

[Thanatos, thanny] 3091dps/ 6260dps tank before boosts

4x Drone Control Unit I

Capital Neutron Saturation Injector I
2x Pithum B-Type Adaptive Invulnerability Field
2x Pith A-Type Shield Boost Amplifier

3x Capacitor Flux Coil II
3x Federation Navy Drone Damage Amplifier

Capital Capacitor Control Circuit I
2x Capital Capacitor Control Circuit II

14x Templar

The fit doesn't have to be this expensive since this is a mock-up just to give you a good idea of what you will be dealing with. Boosts should allow you to dial back the invuls to faction or c-types.

Again, I wouldn't recommend this until you know what it takes to catch a ratting carrier in a wh. Fly safe.
