I always stumble over them when I jump out of Thera (test server).
Is their number increasing?
How many are there?
Did someone start to map them?

Edit: Seems like every constellation has at least one?

I fly daily around in null... and i see those structures in approx. every 4-6 system apart. From my point of view, ive only seen them in systems without stations. I drove Down from hi-sec to Outer regions few days ago, and these structures pops up on overview very often as fast i enter nullsec.

Tho i cant speak for sightings in low or hisec.

From the observations I've made in my home region the structures do disappear after about a week. They respawn within a day or two in the exact same location (bookmarked the beacons). I haven't noticed any news structures in the neighbouring systems, but there is a database cataloging their locations. I'm fortunate in not having to travel very far to observe these beacons since they are only two systems apart. Both systems have heavy Circadian Seeker activity as well, usually concentrated on scanning the structure itself but also roaming and scanning other objects such as POCOs, gates and even stations.

Have them in a low activity system that has a station.

On TQ there's one in Arnon.. Which as the starter system for the Epic Arc, is far from low activity. I saw them on several systems while doing the Arc again too.

Every system I found the in so far has had at least one off axis planet. I wonder if there is a connection.

i realise the Gnosis is a jove ship but it is a part hybrid with our own capsuleer technology... has anyone tied to approach these cloaked stations or sleeper ships with what i think is a pure jove ship the "Apotheosis" shuttle.

the other issue i have with the standard random wormholes is that i find it strange that none of them ever connected with jove space...coincidence?

As far as I know, only the Zephyr still has unique interactions with these ships; That is the Sleepers and Drifters do not fire on it.

Every other ship is fair game, to my knowledge.

If that's the case, has anyone managed to fit the various types of scan modules to that ship in an attempt to get any information... I'm typing this on my mobile phone so I can't access ship type layouts

So over 800 unidentified structures so far. That is a lot.

SoCT ships are NOT Jove.
SoCT might have been founded by the Jove, but they have virtually no interaction with them, and do not provide them with advanced ships.

They are as Jove as Angel Cartel, or Concord. They use some Jovian elements, but in the end are made by us not them, and are more empire tech than anything else.

The Society ships are NOT JOVIAN. The faction is an offshoot of the Jovians, and has its own fleet of unique ships- the Jove used their distinctly organic-looking ships, like the Wraith, Phantom, and Eidolon.

The SoCT is as Jovian as Sansha is Amarrian.

Additionally, it has been "hypothesized" that the Jovians have devised a way of preventing these wormholes from appearing in their space- something that really doesn't seem very far-fetched anymore. But really, it's for teh sake of the game- no one is permitted to enter Jove space.

It's worth noting there has been at least one Sansha Incursion into Jove Space.. Donno if it was Lore or a type-o by the programmers though lol.

Indeed. Using the database and Dotlan I highlighted the systems with unidentified structures in two regions. I wonder if there's some kind of pattern involved in their distribution.

It might be interesting to plot the location of all known Unidentified Structure-having systems in 3-dimensional space to see if there is a pattern.

So today(after Rhea release) i've been doing my usual exploration routine, and then, when scanning, i stumpled onto "Undentified structure", which looks exactly like one of those mystery screenshots that were shared with us.

Here are my screenies:

Its hard to see, but its clearly a tall cloacked structure, like a control tower on steroids. I will be honest, im too much of a ***** to approach it. Can anyone tell me what that is?

UPDATE: Alright, so i decided to man up and approach it. Being right next to it doesnt decloak it, no mobs spawn, no damage taken. Volume on full, cant hear any unusual noises. Relic/data modules do nothing. Looks like i cant do anything with it. Hmmm...

UPDATE 2: Damn, sleepers! They jumped not long after me and started approaching the object. They did something with the station and then warped out. Good thing i was cloaked myself...

Update on sleepers: As other people have stated, they also roam around belts and stargates. Only they scan random wrecks AND stargates themselves! When they do so, the stargate emmits strange blue glow.
