Jita is pretty amazing place to make money, though it's best handled with help of Evernus (sort-of successor of Mentat and Elinor in one). Having large order pool (tycoon, wholesale) obviously helps a lot.

If you are able to place multiple orders (we are talking hundreds of them) Jita can be a very nice place. Otherwise I like to go in other trade Hubs (Amarr, Dodixie, Rens..) it fits my style better :)

I've tried Jita a few times...not my thing. I Prefer slower volume with higher margins, I can only update once maybe 2 a day so this gives my Orders a chance to complete in a shorter time, (less competition), yet not having to babysit too much.

I go to Jita to buy things I know are much cheaper there or for contracts etc. Rare occasions.

Ive tried a few trade hubs and actually prefer jita as trading is a bit faster, some items i have to deal with 0.1 isk but other are not so bad, most of my orders will be filled throughout the day so i can login once a day and do some trading

It seems that when going to other hubs you are still stuck with the 0.01 game. There might be less competition, but it doesn't really make a difference how many people undercut you, as long as someone always 0.01's you...?

Some items are not even sold on other trade hubs and I make quite the profit from them, so my answer is definitely Jita - it is a black hole - even if you have 1 trillion you'd still be able to "invest" them all, of course you'll have to go nuts checking all the orders like in the Matrix, except you are not Neo...or are you? Big smile

If you don't have the time, then Jita is not for you, though I manage to fill my orders on items with huge volumes even when I am not online.
