people started talking about a bright star, and for a few days I couldn't tell the difference between the bright star, and the various neighboring system stars.

Are you sure it's an actual 'Bright Star' and not just a normal star going through a flare period or normally that bright?

Addendum: After finding that someone else has spotted another angle of this object, I am withdrawing my objection. The linked image was taken from Tash-Murkon in the Jinizu system. The structure of the event is nearly identical, but the nebula outcropping near the system obscures the color.

Looks like a classic star, nothing special. Some systems got overly bright stars since the revamp a while back. If it keeps brightening & is visible across Eden, then start calling the alarm.

It looks brighter than any other star so I doubt it. It is curious though that this new one does not exactly look close to Caroline's star. I could be wrong.

Uh, did you look at my link? I found another capsuleer with the exact same stellar formation from a much closer vantage point. You can clearly link the two formations nearly exactly when accounting for the other location being much closer, apparently. I don't know if it's another star going up, or maybe the afterimage of Thera, but there is definitely a new cluster-wide event going down.

Maybe the Jove/Sleepers/SpaceSasquatch are blowing up stars so space will become dark again and stop looking like Earth's sky, because they are sick of being unable to see the status of their modules. Roll

That again, is just a star. Literally if you start plotting routes to all stars in your region i can garantee that it is one of them, or another close star.

I'm going with the build up to a Sleeper and Jove invasion for the glory of Bob.

These stars, with their light that travels thousands of times faster than the speed of light, to become instantly visible to everyone in New Eden, frightens me.

I really want to know what they are doing with all these stars. Something to do with when they release player built stargates perhaps?

I saw the bright star! What does it portend?
