[Adelaide] Come gank Bam's house on Saturday, 28th February!

Hello friends,

Several months ago we had an Adelaide player gathering which ended up back at my place with copious amounts of booze and next-level chillzoning. I moved house last month and have been keen to host some spaceship nerds around my new place ever since.

Date: Saturday, 28th February
Time: 12:30pm til late
Where: Bam's house in Edwardstown (it's near the intersection of Cross Road and South Road, evemail me for the address)

The new place has plenty of room and lots of fun activities set up around the house. Some of the things we could partake in throughout the day include:

  • 4 station MAME arcade cabinet with over 2,000 ROMs (NBA Jam, Street Fighter II etc.) in a separate room with a projector
  • Steam PC in the lounge for 4 player Broforce, Towerfall, Lethal League, Trials, Speedrunners etc.
  • N64 with a variety of games including Mario Kart and GoldenEye hooked up to a 80cm CRT television
  • EVE playing cards and poker chips for some spaceship flavoured Texas Hold 'Em (we can even gamble for ISK to make it interesting)
  • EVE Conquests board game (if I can get Sir Substance to bring it)
  • EVE The Second Genesis CCG (I have tons of unopened starter decks)
  • Bring your laptop in case a spontaneous NPSI LAN roam breaks out. If you don't have a laptop I have two other PCs that can run EVE.
  • The Danger Game!
  • Or just chill out, have a drink, chat to your mates and soak up the vibe!

There's a local supermarket, a take away and a bottle shop all within 5 mins walk. I'll be looking into making a BBQ happen as well. I also have a reasonably comfy camp bed I can set up for one person if anyone needs to spend the night. If anyone needs advice for public transport etc. just hit me up.

There'll be some prizes courtesy of EVE Bet as well. ;)

I'm a bad and don't own CAH but if someone wants to bring it that would be radsauce. Bonus points if it's the Australian edition.

I'll put on some booze like I did last time but it probably won't be enough for everyone's appetites so think of it more as a subsidy. As I said in the OP there's a bottle shop just around the corner so people can attend to their further needs if they find my hospitality lacking. :)
