Doesn't it reflect rather badly on you to have been unable to take Hasmijala from an incompetent enemy?

Tinfoilhat theory says that it's actually a win for galmil cos we lost corms and some cruisers.

Although I am capable of PvP personally, you will rarely find me flying a combat ship. I spend many hours each week transporting items that the people who do truly engage in PvP require, so that they can spend more time doing what they are best at. I build hundreds of ships, and move millions in minerals to produce them, so that PvPers have a hull to build upon.

Although I have acquired vast amounts of knowledge regarding the game and it's mechanics, you will rarely find me putting them to use. Instead, I spend more time answering more questions others have regarding them.. while I am moving things around the universe or building them.

Well, that sounds bloody terrible.

It is more rewarding to me honestly. If I can help 20 people get into ships and PvPing I feel that is going to have more of an impact on the warzone than just me PvPing.

Edit: Opportunity Cost is my ideal way of thinking.

To say the Viet Cong would be incompetent at projecting power would take nothing away from their competency on the defensive.

To be honest, for me? Not really, first we were attacking from two jumps away, in an area of space that it would be generous to characterize as the ass end of nowhere while working with elements of galmill we hardly ever see and trying out a raft of new fits while doing so.

Despite these obstacles I think its pretty clear who would have run out of steam first if we had kept going, and while you may find comparing brawling rail cats to sniper corms (that never actually fought each other) illuminating, I am quite heartened by a realistic analysis of the BR .

Alas, the back to the wall motivation isn't there on an offense that really means very little if it wins or succeeds (no medal push/ re: Where the **** is Hasmijaala again?/no threat to rest of warzone.) Sort of like the Gazelle that cares more about not dying than the lion who's only a little peckish.

I guess for us to look bad, it would have to be in comparison to what any other miltia would have achieved in a similar scenario. Seeing as Calmill hasn't had an offensive in.... I don't even know how long, a year? year and a half? We may just have to wait and see, I however will not hold my breath.

Why does the same argument pop up in every thread? I appreciate propaganda as much as the next guy but c'mon dudes give it a rest. A system was attacked and not flipped. Deal with it.

Going back on topic, I see the Caldari militia having a variety of motivators, goals and ideals. For Templis CALSF anyone who knows us obviously knows where we stand. Occupy the war zone and be a bad ass. The various corporations that form our alliance have their own ways of working toward that goal and at the end of the day everyone has fun. Especially if the Gallente are dead.

As far as I go, whatever the alliance goal is my goal and any part I play in completing that objective is the fun part for me. Getting onto a lot of kill mails along the way is a hell of a lot of fun too.

  • If you're not having fun, you are losing at EVE.
  • It's not the other guy's fault you lost.
  • When in doubt, go for it.
  • Nobody got space rich by giving out ISK.

Bunch of ol' grunts roaming through EvE, sticking to morals and a code of conduct rather then turning to the darkside. Manipulating markets and being those people that no-one wants to go near (Roleplayers). Lots of money & lots of deaths.
