State of Thera

Serious post: no it's not too hard, yes it requires constant activity, and this amount of "work" can easily be converted into amounts of "fun", which is the purpose of some in this game (that's really crazy I know).

If it was that hard to collapse and probe, i suspect that there would not be so much entities in wormholes.

So, if I get a gank on a bunch of renters after undocking in thera I'm 1337 and when I gank them after using my local nullsec from the chain I'm C-tier?

Pretty sure that in this case, the Titanic was sinking because Harry didn't finish his meal.

I can't seem to find anywhere to put a tower. Let alone a "fluid" tower. Where are they?

Hint: they don't exist. People who don't know what they're talking about spouting words off without thinking about whether what they're talking about even exists.

I am a newb...I only convey what I see, and what I can remember. There were two towers belonging to Aquilla Inc. One was some type of "fluid" tower. Exact name?? Idgaf...I know what it is and what it's used for (not being at npc tower and jumping people like cowards) No local doesn't scare me.

As for the "window licker"....might want to look in said "window" reflection. I am not the one on the inside looking out my friend Blink

Did this not make it into the release????

Anchored warp disruption bubbles will not be usable within Thera, although interdictor and heavy interdictor bubbles work normally.

So many people mock Thera and I don't really see why. If it's not your taste then that's fine, but there's no need to try to make fun of others preferences or play-styles.

Thera is a wormhole system. Get over it. You can only get in or out with wormholes, I don't think the fact it's got 4 stations should distract you from that basic fact. For people who don't want to put up with the hassle of maintaining a POS and want the added benefit of having approximately 20 other connections to all types of space, then Thera is great. Whether an explorer or a PVPer there are plenty of options, and exits constantly change for new opportunities.

There are currently several groups who call Thera their base:

Furtherance. (shameless plug incoming) is a casual corp of explorers/PVPers who try to help bring content to Thera by stocking market, scouting exits, and roaming thru holes.

EvE-Scout is a collective of explorers that keep the wormhole connections updated and public for anyone to use.

Aquila is one of the PVP corps of Verge of Collapse, who also live here. They hang around Paleo mostly but also camp the holes and roam as well. If you see 200+ drones on a hi-sec hole it was probably one of them.

Bombers Bar is a community of PVPers who lead bomber/blops fleets from Thera and are quite successful.

Razor Alliance has some assets here and you can often see them flying assault frigate fleets in and around Thera connections.

There are many other groups I haven't named who live here, and others who roam through when a connection is near them. I would say the system is very much active.

You kind folks can hate on Thera all you want but it is what it is, and I'm tired of people acting like they're superior because they live in a C5/6 and insist they are the only "real" wormholers.

Cheers.

TL:DR Thera is W Space because it has wormholes, the same way Nullsec is Highsec because it has Stargates.

no one here cares if you do or do not like Thera or if you live in it or not.
clearly it's going to appeal to some people and that's fine but calling it wspace is laughable for people who have lived in WHs for any stretch previously and know how they work.

it can be seen very clearly from the corps you listed as active there: they are ALL nullsec entities that, apart from your corp, are well known as being NS entities.

There is no Bob.

Since you need clarification...I noticed many Goon corp members in the NPC station I was in (20 or so), all from different Goon corps. I then broadcasted in local and a few channels. Suddenly 100 goons in station. Then they started pouring out. I undocked with them and warped out. I then asked if they saw me undock. They then asked me "Did you see our territorial claim units? " I saw two towers both belonging to a corp I thought was goon, guess I was wrong. More worried about getting decloaked to be honest.

So to summarize, goons at NPC pushing 100, and either Aquilla is renting? Or I was mistaken about it...at any rate 100 goons, and I guess also some "unaffiliated" russian corp.

Don't you dare call Thera W-space ! Clearly all its inhabitants are nullsec dwellers (especially VoC ยงยงยง), and on the other hand W-space never had any nullsec entities set foot in it, like Goonswarm, Red Alliance, Eve-Uni, Brave Newbies...

That was a collection of bad arguments, to defend an otherwise valid claim; Thera is probably some kind of "hybrid" space (as stated by CCP, the "5th" kind of space). To draw a terrible parralel i would say that Thera is w-space as much as a freighter is a capital ship. Discuss.
