Sieged dread damage variation

Is it normal for dread DPS to be all over the place in siege?

Moros with T2 siege mod, all gunnery skills except capitals to V, not moving, shooting a POS, and one hit is 24k, next is 6k.

I understand there are variables when shooting, but it just seems strange to literally have quadruple the damage one hit, and then so low the next.

Is this a usual occurrence for all players?

I have noticed this in the past as well, so i'm guessing it's normal, unless my character has been adjusted to have 136 sided dice tracking rolls :P

Your DPS is static and theoretical. Your applied damage, in this case volley damage, is still RNG dependent. What is your EFT volley damage?

Could be that, was about half way into falloff from memory (pos around 36km, max falloff 63km I think), 2X range scripts loaded.

Depends on the Weapon type, Missiles are the only one that does constant damage, so if it isn't moving and is just sitting still (i.e. a POS) then it will always hit, for example at 110k damage per hit, guns have accuracy to work about, sometimes they don't get a wreaking shot, sometimes its placing and yada yada, i don't know if it is just Projectile and Hybrids that suffer from this, i have zero experience or theory reading about lasers, but missiles are always same damage on a POS.

EFT Volley and DPS Info

12,546.4 DPS
55,075.7 Alpha Volley

For some reason it doesn't say the amount of damage in the logs anymore???????
