them new but rusty frypan

Cheers,

I got totally borded of my CNR and Golem for Blood Raider ratting so I decided do look for something new. Tried to find some fits for dem old frypan so called Barghest. Actually the origin of the name is pretty kickass...google It!)

I know it got all the boni on warp scrams but tbh any dictor with a bs in the back does the job better and even a phoon is more worthy by much lesser isk.

so here is the plan..try to find a decent ( maybe even better) PVE fit for that ugly ship. I wonder if rapid-HML are the way to go. I guess with cruise it doesn't bring the dps on the small ships as good as an golem would do. Any of you guys got experience with that ship in pve and I mean specially ratting?

As for your question, barghest can rat fine, like 90% of the ships in eve. Is it as efficient as some other battleships? Probably not.

Rapid HMLs will just mean you end up sitting in reloads most of the time. Pretty sure almost nobody uses this for ratting since there are far cheaper and more effective options out there.

In English the plural of bonus is bonuses -> boni is not an English word.


Now back to the Barghest: it has one bonus devoted to the PvP only. If you want to use that ship in PvE you are not using that particular bonus. There are other ships which you can use for PvE more effectively.

ea still nothing new compared to what I already red in couple of forums.
so its just a fact that the this ship isn't compatible or its just a stereotype?

like I said, it's capable, but not optimal.

rhml's is the only way i see this ship shining....in pvp.

aside from that fit it how you want, its versatility ie. armor or shield tank are what really makes the ship shine above others.
