Maybe this would be a little thing?

We already have a checkmark that shows you are receiving boosts, please add one for links too. It would already be good, if you could see that you are receiving them, even if the details like OP proposed would be better.

In the current version of our item attribute system, called Dogma, this is simply not practical. I'm also very protective of people working in certain areas of Dogma because we're trying to finish three different rewrites and integrate them back up to our MAINLINE. Any changes in the MAINLINE, like this one, are a bit of a headache to implement in our sandboxes and usually end up being rewritten by Team Gridlock. That of course takes time which keeps us from shipping my work.

But this becomes practical to look at with the new dogma paradigm we're implementing in order to be able to implement the elusive Brain in a Box. I'm clearly not saying we'll ship the BiaB with this feature included, I can downright promise you that is not happening because we need to actually finish this project as opposed to feature creep ourselves into vapourware-land. Absolutely not promising any delivery of anything. Just shedding light on things.

But we in Gridlock will try and keep it in mind when reimplementing Fleet Bonuses after we've finished the skill rewrite. We promise nothing. But it's really not practical to do before the stage where we promise nothing is reached. How I manage so many words into promising nothing amazes me and I should clearly be in politics.

expert ranter indeed Shocked ... will dogma when implemented fix off grid boosting too be ongrid instead?

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Nerf web strength, Make the blaster Eagle worth using

The presence/absence of bonuses can be calculated client side the exact same way we currently find out if we have them. Check the ship stats and see if they are better than normal.

This peeves me off when people say it.

"It's ok not to have a house, you can just live outside under cardboard boxes".

There is no reason this should not be included. Time to get out of stone age.

I mean actually have the client do it instead of us having to do it by hand.

Well I'm hopeful anyway. It seems a lot of reworking stuff is happening deeeeep in the dungeons, and hopefully, at some point, this can get integrated into it. I'd rather not break what you're working on for the sake of this little request, but if you can do it, please do :D it seems to be what people want (no objections so far).

Haaaaaalp my head's on fire

hmm... considering how many times boosts get weird and require the fleet to reform, I can believe it.

Maybe, just maybe, if you visit changing how boosts work, you can see about making it possible to see the boost type and amount. Blink
