Issues, Workarounds & Localization

I have a bit of a strange story to tell. I recently started ratting in rattlesnakes. In the combat anoms everything works great and I melt rats like a boss. However, whenever I go into scanned-down combat sites, or escalations, all of a sudden the drones that were doing 900 dmg per hit are doing 90 (if im lucky). That's not even the worst of it though. I use Drone Link Augmentor II's to extend the engagement range of my caldari sentries. With the link augmentors on I can engage as far as I can scan at the very least, but when I go into these sites the bonuses aren't even applied and it makes my long range sentries essentially pointless. It's gotten to the point that I no longer even look at escalations or combat sigs, and it's kind of dissapointing. I don't really expect an answer or a solution, just wanted to vent.
