Are the new Auto target cruise missiles worth training for?

I never used the F.O.F's previous to this new release so i'm not sure if the training for these is worth my time. Anyone use them to a good result? I suppose they are fairly situational.

depends on the situation. perfect for a semi afk rattlesnake in PVE, and/or navy raven. never tried them in PVP, suppose I could see them either being useful or completely useless.

You hit it on the head. I fly semi-AFK Rattlesnake PVE. Now i have to try them. Your like an oracle Chainsaw!

I do what I can, only concern is as they go for closest target that often means frigs. with rigors they don't do too poorly there, but probably better to snipe the frigs with sentries so at least you are hitting cruisers and up. might be worth fitting rapid heavy launchers, but I've yet to try them.

I've heard that they like shooting stuff that's not always the NPCs...such as asteroids and structures.
