Targeting range in data/relic sites?

Has anything changed?

I'm only able to lock to ~17km using an Astero. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I was able reach much further previously. My Long Range Targeting skill is 4. The Astero is listed with a 37km targeting range.

Did you equip Warp Core Stabilizers? They neuter your lock speed and lock range significantly.

also some wormholes reduce your lock range if you explore wormholes. Magnetar in particular.
