How good can the Loot get?

currently i have spent 3 weeks in a class2 wormhole with static high and c3. during this time i have occupied myself by running the data/relic sigs and the cosmic anoms in the c2 i have NOT ventured into the c3 yet. In terms of isk the salvage/loot has an average market value of 30mil from the anoms the return from data / relic sites are what we in the uk would describe as pi$$ poor, and it's the same old stuff over and over and over. In all i have sold everything for a return of 1.2bil isk, which is not bad really, however i am bored with the repetition of it. Will the rewards be any better from the c3 if i were to go in there and could the sigs anoms be solo'ed in a tengu for example?

i went into high sec for a week to do some exploration but i found there is too much competition for the signatures, i also found that when i was in my stratios i would find ded 1 -2 combat sites and when in my astero i would find ded 3-4 combat sites, so the constant swapping of ships niggled me, is there 1 exploration ship that can do ded 1-4? i was debating about going into low and null to explore but i never bothered because i did not want to get stranded to far away from home, i am a solo account so have no alts that can scout ahead or assist in any other way. So i choose to go back into the c2 it actually seems alot safer in here than in high sec :)

Do you ever find good loot in c2/3 wormhole space?

That's about right except that your doing nothing but your wormhole sites. You make money off your static in c2 space. Roll your hole, if lots of sigs, farm away.

No sites, roll the static.

You'll earn more because you'll have more sites or the option to change your system for another.

Yaay!!!!

Loot in wh-space is fairly static. If you think what you get now is low you should've seen it before the loot value exploded to current values. Literally beltratting in a coercer was more lucrative than blitzing c2-sites in a 700dps legion.

So am guessing loot does not get much better than what i am already getting. Are there no faction drops?
As for the c3 could a tengu solo them.

Thanks for the replies

No loot comes from the blue stuff and the salvage. There is no "Wormhole Gear".

... least not yet...

Ok, I'll lay it out for you pretty plain. For C3's, bring a Gila. For <500m isk, you can have a passively tanked drone ship that can clear any combat anomaly in a C3, and do it fairly quickly. MTUs are a must, warp in, drop MTU, orbit at 5km to get some transversal, because everything helps, drop your drones and start blapping rats. Make sure to use the EVE University wiki because holy cow is EVE-Survival whacked out on what is actually in sites. After you are done killing the last wave, scoop your loot from your MTU, scoop the MTU, and bookmark the site. Come back in a salvaging destroyer with 8x T1 salvagers and 3 T1 salvage tackle rigs, and you should be able to salvage Sleeper BS just fine with Salvaging IV.

40 minutes should clear you 2 sites, and net you close to 100m isk, depending on battleship bloot and nanoribbons from salvaging.

If you are slightly richer (>600m isk buy-in), and have the means, grab a Rattlesnake from Jita, properly fit, and with RHML launchers and a Gecko drone, you can get 1100 DPS and be able to tank any site in a C3. This will cut your clear times in half, doubling your payout and ensuring you can get even more sites within an hour. 30 minutes in a Rattlesnake netted me 150M isk, if I had been able to finish the 3rd site before someone connected to me in the farm hole, I would have probably had another 60M isk for about another 5 mins of time investment. Have an MTU out and do your hoovering of wrecks and salvaging in a T1 destroyer for more isk.

Leave the tengu in the overpriced outdated ships trash bin, get on board with Gilas, and avoid losing your SP to the inevitable gank when you missed that Dscan click, or thought you were safe and didn't put eyes on a POS with empty ships in it.

Alternatively, keep using a Tengu, and when I find you when I am bored, you will wind up starring in one of our EVE Online MLG videos that happen when we find bears ratting without paying attention.

E2: Run sites in your C3, don't run your C2 combat anoms (Gas/data/relic are fair game though), leave them as bait for daytrippers looking for WH isk. Gank helpless nerds who scan down your highsec entrance and decide to run your sites and don't know the ways of the wormhole.

I lived in a C5 with a C3 static and we farmed the hell out of them. They are pretty good isk but if you are complaining about only getting 1.2b, then I don't know what to tell you.

I don't think my inital post came across as complaining about the return in isk i was asking if the loot got any better than what i am currently getting.

risk/difficulty and a reward go hand in hand

C2 sites can be soloed by well-fitted battlecruiser, getting 30m a site seems plenty good for the difficulty you are at.

Compare that to a c5 where one site can yield around 150million and up to 2bil for capital escalations.

Hi,

Ayla Hanaya wrote good stuff. Play with EFT/Pyfa until you come with a better fit (you did an "OK" fit dont get me wrong, but you can do a better one).

Just two things :
1. I find eve survival accurate for C3. But yeah, this seems better (http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Wormhole_C3_Sites) thank you Ayla.
2. Salvage 3 + rigged destroyer work well in C3 (but yeah, go to Salvager 4 asap...).

If you need help with the fit or the method to farm C3 with Gila, ask me ingame. I am myself a Low Class PvE Farmer Ugh

Well, here is a thing that I have used successfully for running sites, if you have a good Gila pilot and a mobile depot to swap modules, you can blitz the low DPS waves with less tank than this by swapping in/out Beta Reactor Controls for Drone Damage Amplifiers.

Your magic tank number you are shooting for is a mid 500 DPS omni-tank, the deadspace amps are not ~required~ but they are extremely helpful to help you reach your goal of 500+ DPS tank. Once you can get over 500 dps omni-tank in EFT with your skills, you can play with the fit to find extra room for DPS to clear waves faster.

On this one, the Fed navy ODTL and the RF Target Painter are optional, and can be downgraded to T2 variants (you don't really want to run T1, it will hurt your times). The RHML IIs are optional because you are going to be firing CN Scourge heavy missiles, so you can run Arbalest launchers just fine and still do 1100 DPS.

This fit is definitely not cap stable, do not permarun the booster, run it when you hit ~40% shields, and keep it going until you hit 80% or so. Even so it is stable and predictable under neuting pressure, because without the XLSB running you have +110GJ/s of cap recharge, nothing in a C3 is going to neut you out when you don't have the booster on.

You want a minimum of Caldari Battleship IV and Gallente Battleship IV, Vs are better, but they're a huge time-sink, and it is understandable if you don't have them. This fit with Caldari Battleship IV, Gallente Battleship IV, and very good drone skills will clear any site in a C3, Data, Relic, doesn't matter, it will clear them all. You will be under a lot of pressure in the Data/Relic sites, but keep your cool and ride the snake and you will break the big DPS waves and survive.

I have another fit that was created by LZHX fitting/video maestro Keith Planck, that I will link to the youtube, because there's no way to hide fits inside of collapsed spoilers to make the post easy to read.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4XXvGsnrok

This fit, when properly used, is absolute overkill for a C3, and even for C4's. If someone lands on you and tries to gank you, swap all of your lowslots for Beta Reactor Controls, and watch your tank climb into the thousands of DPS. That doesn't mean be careless with it, because you are by yourself, your gankers always have friends, and you will lose in a protracted fight, but you can be sure you will take at least 1-2 of them with you into the abyss.

E2: Before taking these out for real, I would advise going to Thera on Singularity and getting into the appropriate wormholes to test each fit with your skills.

I use the same fit posted by Spud Lazair (with Augmented Goblin and Pyth C Therm resist). To be honest I copied Keith rattlesnake fitt from the video posted and adapted it to the Gila :)
You do not need the AB (create warpin near sleeper spawn with a covop before coming with the Gila). Your Medium shield boosted reduce your passive tank : go full passive.

My drones always take damage (but never die) when I go solo. Even when no frigate is on the grid.
But they tank very hard.

If you have a friend, you will blitz wave and you won't need to recall drones. Another thing : you can go full dps (3 DDA) with a buddy, but have to switch for more tank from time to time in solo. It works solo very well, but it is even better with more people.

Have Fun :)

A trick to cut your site times down, you don't need cloaky covops to get you to where the sleepers spawn, you know the floating rocks that are >150km away from your warpin? Use them for positioning. Warp at range to them and you will be able to move around to get to the spawns.
