Lost my loki with -1.9 security status on a 1.0 system, bugged image inside!!

Long story short:

Was coming from jita in autopilot after I got my security status back up to -1.9 (character sheet), when all of a sudden I was being attacked by the navy in amarr.

When I looked at the character info it says -2.1 when in my character sheet says -1.9.

Petitioned :/ .. Do I deserve a brand new loki reimbursed?

if you just gained the sec increase without relogging it has been an issue for a long time of eve not recognizing your recent update. If not good luck on your petition

Same thing happened to me in a stealth bomber. But I was smart enough to not be autopiloting and managed to get back to 0.9 space. Relogged and everything was peachy.

Autopilot is a bad thing - highsec is dangerous :)

It could also be poor standings with the faction who owns the space, which would cause their navy to attack you.

Ya, I tried to get back to gate, but when I saw it, the shield was already gone, it tanked pretty well actually, I managed to get to 4k from gate :/

Ive done -10 and back to 0 a gazillian times, I know something happened.. just hopefully ccp reimburses me cause thats my incursions loki brand new outta jita ^^

But anyway already petitioned, thanks for the support guys I will now sleep a lot better :) (yea i was mad)

always log out before attempting to empire on freshly repaired sec status.

ALWAYS!!!

also beware of rounding, -1.95 is -2 or some silly crap like that

Yep I always make sure it gives no margin for roundabouts, thats why I got it to -1.91 and not -1.95 , to make sure it was gonna be -1.9.

It has never happened to me before, thanks for the advice.

In short, yes. The game should never present you with information that would lead you to take a course of action you believe is safe, only to find out that it's not. You shouldn't even HAVE to log out/back in to reset it or anything like that, as it's not an intuitive thing that everyone would know to do.

Mechanics like this should always be consistent and predictable. There shouldn't be any special tricks to prevent this sort of problem.
