Strikethrough in Notepad

I don't know about others, but I use the in-game Notepad rather frequently.

I often use it to make lists of things. Things I need to do. Things I need to buy. Places I need to go, etc...

However there is no way (other than changing color or size of text) to indicate that something is completed.

I would much rather have the standard strikethrough (not sure how to do it in these forums) to indicate something has been completed.

bold, underline, strikethrough, and italics are all available in game via standard Ctrl + keystroke.

Use the force without consent and the court wont acquit you even if you are a card carryin', robe wearin' Jedi.

In front of every thing you need to do, add this:

[ ]

Once item is done, change to this:
Quote:
[X]

Do you happen to know what they are for the benefit of myself and anyone who reads this?

Ctrl + ( i,b,u,-) italics, bold, underline, strikethrough

ed: my bad, strikethrough is not supported. that IS kinda strange

Ha! Well that's good.

But yeah, given the complexity and intricacy of EVE, the Notepad is a very useful in game feature. The more functionality it has, the better. I should think strikethrough is simple enough. If the font they use supports it.

I think that for basic note taking with formatting there are far better out of game options that handle formatting. The only thing I truly need the in game notepad for is if I'm making notes that need ingame links (character/system/etc).

What would be great is if there were a quick way to link selected text without having to right click and select type of thing to link to.

I'm right behind you
