I don't think I will be able to visit...

But I came here just to say, that I will pray about them.

In the Name of the Light

Director Korsavius,

until now we have not been aware of the dreadful incident. We seek to express our deepest sympathies on behalf of the Duchy of Palas and the Order of St. Severian. If there is anything we can do to assist in identifying the perpetrators and accommodate the widowed and orphaned, we are ready and equipped to help.

May the Light shine on them!

My sincerest condolences to Ishukone Raata on the loss of beloved comrades and kirjuun in this tragedy. I'm sure the Winds will bear their former colleagues back to the company of their proud ancestors. I join those Ancestors in demanding justice for the slain, although I demand no details from IRED beyond those they feel it is appropriate to make public. I wish IREDs internal affairs outfit all speed in identifying and bringing justice to the perpetrators of this infamous outrage.

Out of respect for the fallen, I will not be seeking to attend the memorial service as I feel my attendance would focus attention on the current state of diplomatic relations between our two companies, instead of on the fallen, where it should be focused. I would hope this lack of attendance would not be interpreted as lack of interest.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I am unable to attend, but I intend to honour those that will be honoured in this ceremony in my own way.

Chūjō Korsavius:

Due to medical reasons, the precise details of which I am not at liberty to discuss on these forums, Stewardess Lagann will be unable to attend tonight's ceremony.

If it would be permissible to send another employee of Tyrathlion Interstellar in her stead - her XO, Suzelle Dullere (who was present during the rescue operations as part of the crew on the Spirit) or perhaps myself if necessary - it would be much appreciated.

Thank you for the consideration. Ms. Dullere was able to make room in her schedule tonight and is on her way as we speak. She should arrive well before the ceremony.

One of us will pass the well-wishes along at first opportunity.

The Memorial ceremony was a respectful & serene event where everyone behaved & showed respect regarding the tragedy that transpired, but there was also time to recognize those who helped in rescuing the colonists, averting an even larger disaster.

The Tsuruma Memorial Ceremony

May the culprits behind the sabotage that lead to this be caught quickly & punished appropriately.

I must give sincere apologies for not being able to attend the ceremony, on account of not having a suitable connection to k-space. I hope no insult was given by my absence, as none was intended.

I have read Ms Ymladris' article on the event, and am glad it went with the dignity and reverence it deserved. 13. held a private memorial service for the engineers of my crew and the colonists that perished, as well as a thanks for the lives saved and all those that assisted. Though small our part was, my crew and I are proud to have assisted in the way we did. Further, 13. extends the offer of any and all assistance in I-RED's mission in finding the terrorists involved in the sabotage. Please do not hesitate to contact myself if there is anything we can do.

Regards.

I share the sentiments of my kirjuun Tuulinen.
