How long or how far back can I go in logs

With wallet transactions or wallet journal or containers that have audit logs. How long do these last? Or how long do the logs last?

I was out of the game for 2-3 years and wanted to know if there is a way to look back at things before I quit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think wallet records and the like don't last more than a few months, at most.

I think its a couple months or couple hundred logs, whichever comes first. Doubtful that you will be able to see your logs from 2-3 years back.

In Windows I just checked the Documents/EVE/logs folder and I have some from 2010 so who knows.

I'm pretty sure it's purely volume based, so newer ones will replace older ones as the cap fills up. It's something like 200 entries. Age I don't think matters.

EDIT: I could be wrong though, it hasn't really affected me.

That sounds correct. I believe API pulls like 1,000 logs. So I am guessing it would be the same.

You can only retrieve at the most one month back (30 days), and 2560 rows per request at the most, 50 is default but can be changed with the rowCount parameter on the API.
