Hi all,

Last night I was running a Guristas Mil Complex, but had to leave it due to RL.

I tanked the initial smartbomb explosion, but according to the evelopedia page for it, it says there would be another explosion at 30% structure.

Is this still true?

Also does the station drop anything of value?

Or is it just the rat spawn I should be concerned about?

I have not run one in a while but I don't remember 2 blasts in the same room, there was the one in the first room and another in the second room. If you can tank the first you should handle the second.

Just checked the wiki.
I might be wrong, but I think you are reading the wiki incorrectly. There is an EM blast on first attack (per player) and a second wave of NPCs at 30%.

As far as dropping stuff, its the commander BS that drops the Faction loot. If you want the DS loot you need to follow the escalation thought its the same as a 7 or 8/10 if I'm correct and its not very good. (Gurista BS mods are bad in general)

I can confirm what the previous poster said, only one EM blast on initial attack of the station. So for me that mean depot out, 2 em resists on, shoot station, then back to previous resists, and pew pew station until faction spawn appears.

The faction spawn also seems to appear a lot more regularly than before at 30% structure.

Overall I love this site, since it quick, and possible to skip most of the first room, leaving all those lovely warp disrupting frigs for anyone hunting you :)

Thanks for all the replies.

I'm going to go the same route as DontShootMe ImBlonde.

I'll get a depot, zip through the first room and then run the second room.

When I did the first room, I killed pretty much everything and that took ages.

I used a PVE fit Proteus but next time I'll use an Ishtar with an expendable t1 drone to ignite the first EM attack.
