curiousity with Videofx feature in Isboxer

so I understand about the 1 keystroke (or click) 1 action rule essentially.. but I want to know if using isboxer's VideoFX feature to creature a dashboard on a monitor is consider'd a breach of of the eula.

this is basically what I'm asking : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HA88ndjh8x4

since each individual client will NOT be broadcasting, or using any macro's of any kinda (unless the dashboard itself is classed as one.)

I have sent a support ticket in to ask a GM directly an the only reply i got looked like a copy/paste.. and not helpful at all, only linked me to the EULA itself which iv read, and cant see any mention of this feature.

but safety first.. I want to know if its actually going to get me banned if i used this feature.

myself personally don't like or never use anything that is even has a slight chance of getting my accounts closed.

any input or actual links to "helpful" info on this matter would be muchly appreciated.

Confirming relying on GD for information is the safest path. Roll

well not normally, but when the support team can't answer the question without copy and pasting something thats pre-written and not helpfull in the case at all what so ever..

and since im not a forum warrior, seem'd like better place then any.. and thats why i asked for links, proof ccp dev's confirming, clearly im not going to just take joe blows word for it.. thats just silly..

Petitions. Use them. Alternatively try this feature from ISboxer and let me know if you get banned or not.

I cannot tell you if you will get banned or not. Nor can anyone else in GD. A GM can though. So create a support ticket and phrase your question properly.

i worded it the same as i did here with some more info here of course, and GM can't actually tell you if it is or not because there not allowed to say using third party programes are allowed..

am i srsly the only person that actually read's the full OP?

I can confirm, that to the best of my knowledge, the usage you have described will result in an immediate IP ban and deletion of all your in game assets.

Seriously wondering if OP clicked the link I posted.

If you are worried something will get you banned, usually avoiding it is the best option in my opinion.

I wouldn't even want to be skipping close to the grey zone in the first place.

If you ever find yourself asking the question "is doing X going to get me banned?" to the forums or in a petition because you can't find someone else already doing it, then the answer will always lie somewhere between "The GM's decide that on a case-by-case basis" and "yes, immediately and permanently, along with all your alts".

I find myself asking that for rather mundane things in eve. Scamming isn't bannable till you do it on a large scale that presents bad PR like erotic1. Dragging concord can be bannable yet not depending on the day. I would be surprised if hyperdunking doesn't suddenly become bannable.

There's such a huge grey area that using two screens to play two eve clients on the same computer might be bannable. The lack of communication really fosters this.

<--- Wishes they would/could just ban Isboxer all together and get it over with so these questions will have 1 nice compact little answer. Never have I seen so many questions revolving around one specific programs use. If it's that questionable, why bother?
