I just lgged in and got a message for 35 seconds till downtime a minute later, i was in a rat fight, will i be ok?

Rats vanish during genuine downtimes.
You ewarp on crash unless pointed.
Should be fine.
If not, although unlikely; petition and write a wall of text with facts figures and tedious details and it should get refunded eventually.
