The large file size of this update is due to the inclusion of the QVC shopping channel brought to you by NEX....

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

Actually, my previous CEO had really terrible aussie-stix Dialup. Yes, actual Dialup Internet... a 20MB patch would take him most of the day to download, and anything over 50 he would literally have to drive an hour into the city to his friend's house to get it.

Even 100kb jpegs would take him around a minute to load.

sometimes art assets are snuck into patches early to reduce the size of a later patch. standard practice at most MMO companies.

Tonight's patch, a whopping 102 megabytes for a minor version, will include the following features:

1) We will no longer be able to see ship bracket types on combat scan until we get them to 25% :(

2) Guns will now actually change ammo without sh+++ing themselves.

3) Nothing much else of consequence.

Looks like A LOT of NeX stuff was added. Search "men's" in the Market menu and you'll see everything.

Patching = trying to fix something = generally good thing as long total amount of patches = fix to the actual problem.
Patch 1.0 + patch 2.0 to fix bugs what patch 1.0 caused is better than no patch 2.0.
:excellence: patch = Patch 1.0 - 7.0 to fix bug which wasn't there before Patch 4.0.
:fearless: patch = include some random code to the tranq update and see what it breaks.

If whining about the size of the latest patch is the best you basement dwelling no-lifers can do, I'd say the game is doing pretty well for a change.

Where'd you see them? Did you look at the actual assets list as it updated, or with a browser afterwards? Because I didn't, and I'd be interested.

yep, and i am sure same people download movies and series in GBs. Grumpy old men, grrrumph.

Patch also changed the signature icons in exploration, and who knows, maybe we got some more new sites like the DED 5/10s we got in previous patch.
