Yet another patch...without patchnotes....

Hope my launcher loads tonight.

Hasn't been for the last week, been having to go in manually through the bin folder :(

But you've stated the simple stuff very simply in the patchnotes before....all we are asking is that you just simply communicate with us.

I remember several patches over the years that infact changed game mechanics and balance that had no patchnotes...that is why we ask you for patchnotes...

New Icon SiSi feedback thread that got wholly ignored!

An example of that a good ship icon set looks like.

I do not see a problem.
Minor patch for minor problems.
It shows CCP guys are working, no need to explain every little detail.
You can see it when you start eve so there is nothing special or secret about it.

I'd like to know what was patched as well, even if its just a one liner in the patch notes saying "We removed some unused legacy code"

Pretty much this.

Everyone would want to know if the 'unused code' applied to one of their beloved bott..third party programs, or try to claim some stealth nerf/buff to something because reasons.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

well, there's always that, but at that point that's players being dicks, ccp will have filled the minimum communications that should be given, they are under no obligation to communicate with us, they are under no obligation to go into detail.

It could also be something along the lines of "yea, we removed a recently revealed exploit - if something you used to do isn't working any more be happy you haven't heard from us about it."

Did you seriously post that? They are under NO obligation to communicate with us they do so as a curtesy. If tomorrow they decided to delete every pos in the game, they could and never let us know why. The outcry would be huge but there is not nor ever was an obligation to communicate with us.

I never asked for it, nor will I ever do. If it is something that simple as maintenance that really doesnt affect me that much (no added stuff, no changes to in game items).

So, stop using we when you clearly mean I.

ya, i wouldn't have phrased that as a question if I had a source, and was basically asking if anyone else remembered them making that promise, and maybe where they made that promise.
