the blurred field in the second picture of drifting BS look as same as SOE ship. Now we know why T1 ship of SOE like stratios is better than most of T2 ships from 4 nations.

I wonder what would have happened if we had just left them alone.

But leave it to Capsuleers to go all NBSI on them.

Everyone who shot them probably has accumulated -10 standings with the Sleepers and I guess will be hunted.

new faction logo, new battleship, new sites... My money is on some new kind of faction ship. Though, it wouldn't be 'new' more as ancient. Maybe it requires all 4 racial skills lol...

Propulsion rods? I don't recall reading about those in the lore/technology of EVE documents. Either I missed something, or this technology is a step-or-two above what we are used to seeing in the cluster.

Feel free to correct me. :)

New ship is supposed to use some kind of field effect like you see on the SOE ships. Probably where SOE got the idea. The rods are more than likely where the effect will be generated from.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

that is all i could get on sisi
it has a strong shield , leaves no wreck and when it goes boom it makes a greenish cloud like the one from caroline's star
also in the last picture is a heavy missile launcher that looks like is floating , not attatched to the ship

edit: no thrusters and goes 1200m/s

Y u no hud off and use mouse camera!

But really nice pics, looks like its finally got a placeholder model.

Sleepers may have adapted against current capsules and empire ships and tactics and produced new ships, they have been busy scanning us. Or it could belong to the a.i. Sleeper constructs which originated slog the same way The Other did. Or possibly talcon or an unkown race.

i'm 100% sure that the final design is yet to come ... floating launchers are quite riduculous :))

these new entityes act the same way as seekers
the difference is only in size , tank and firepower
they don't attack unprovoked

The model is definitely not finished. We shouldn't be seeing any polygons on rounded surfaces - but there they are. Also, if this is a new Sleeper/Talocan ship, it seems to be a radical departure from visual asthetics of either race. Personally, The ship seems to looks similar to a T3 Destroyer in my opinion. This leads me to speculate that if it *is* from one of those 2 races, it is either ancient, or a quick adaptation of Empire technology.

This would be the equivalent of an intergalactic spacefaring race coming to earth from the Andromeda galaxy, and then attempting to conquer the human race using robots made of Volkswagen Jettas.

Both the Talocan and the Sleepers are/were far ahead of current capsuleer technology, and would not take 10 steps back by utilizing what we fly.

From what I understand, theyre ancient ships that have recently been pressed into service from storage.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Well yes, that's one implication. :)

The other might be they were on a different "technological path" than the Empires are and found a useful adaptation. Either way, I'm *heavily* leaning toward it being an ancient ship.

I was kind of thinking about that actually... what if we scheduled a day - advertising it quite a bit, where we have a 24-hour (downtime to downtime) day where we don't shoot them and maybe see what happens?

Herding cats. lol. I figured I'd throw it out there anyway. Speaking of throwing things out there, I pieced together the images we had in a horrid fashion:

Those images are obviously of the Drifter Battleship. The thingies sticking out at angles from the front dorsal surface are clearly turrets or other weapons fo some type. This does not preclude it from having missile launchers as well.

You know, the wingy bits remind me of Minmatar, while the smooth sleek black surfaces remind me of recent Caldari ship designs. Hmm.....

Drifters...... aren't the Thukker Tribe drifters of a sort? Thukker Tribal faction battleship inbound?

Weren't the Minmatar supposed to be the chosen race of the Jove?

Maybe Great Wildlands is about to become decent space.
