Launcher stuck at 2/4 25%

First of all, please stop releasing patch so rapidly if people have to deal with this nightmare every time. I download the patch yesterday and were playing just fine! Today I try to log in and it start to patch the game, why? It's the same problem as the last patch and I literally tried every solution I could find. I don't know how it got fix last time, I just log in randomly one day two weeks later and it magically work. So I don't know if it my side or the server side, but it's ridiculous that no one can isolate this problem and fix it.

You guys make a great game, but having to deal with this for days or weeks even every patch is crazy especially now that there is 6? patch in a year.

I'm in the same scenario as you. I've tried to repair, reinstalled twice and still hanging on 2/4 25%.
Did you have any success with a solution?

I don't know if this is relevant, but with this week's patch that the launcher only seemed to make any progress when it received input events. So I proceeded to wiggle my mouse over it to get it to patch. Sometimes it also seemed to slowly make progress in the background, but didn't update until I wiggled the mouse again.

I have a similar problem here, it stucks while repair tool is at some certain percentage. EVE launcher crashing at some point aswell. I have copied the error log and attached it with my submit. Im waiting to hear from CCP now. It was working fine untill the patch arrived. Please share your experience if you had the same problem previously and managed somehow.

Hello, same here for me and i had no choice but to update the patch....it started downloading automatically, i had no option to stop the upload of the patch. I have just started playing the game and took subscription as well for 1 year and suddenly i can not play the game for last 2 days.

Already put in 2 tickets for the same but no help is around the corner and the problem still exists, Seriously i do not know what to do next and how to play the game ? Maybe anyone with knowledge can help.

hi an update .....my launcher has started working, i had to remove eve from my system and then downloaded eve again...and thankfull it has started working now

I have not found a solid solution that would work every time. Tried re download it too multiple time, but it did not work. It magically fixed last time as I state. So I have no idea what I did or didn't do to fix it. The only advice I can give to anyone who read this post is don't let Eve Online be your only source of gaming around patch time. And also put training months in advance at all time, especially around patches.

UPDATE: Thanks to https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=338967&p=4 , I was able to obtain a working copy of the current game.

Being a steam user I have to update every files in the steam folder beside the launcher so I can logging through steam. It worked for the day. Then today I got on and lord and behold, the same problem appear again.

What's the deal CCP? I obtained a working copy and somehow in the process of playing for several hours its mess up again?

I'm currently going to try to isolate which files I replaces that fix the problem, those files would be the problem...
