Why do Empire kill missions come up so frequently?

I haven't run a mission in over a year, but if it's the same as before those kinds of missions have rather lucrative loot that drops. I remember getting two in a row once and the loot was 50-55 million total. At the time I actually looked for a way to force empire missions because I reckoned you could top 100 million an hour if working in an optimal setup and with a separate looting account, but never found a way.

If you do insist on not running these kinds of missions, move your operations to a system with multiple level 4 security agents.

When I first started playing, they didn't have a "freebie" reject for missions. If you rejected, it was an instant standings hit - no ifs, ands, or buts. So, count your blessings that you can actually reject ones you really don't want.

All in all though, the standings hits for opposing factions isn't that big of deal. You need to do a *lot* of them to become KOS in the faction space with the Diplomacy skill up a couple levels, so you should be able to monitor and improve faction standings well before then.

Perfectly well said. I shudder to think of the impact on the economy if all i ever had to do was Gone Berserk (the mission that acts like a null sec anomaly) and Dread Pilot Scarlet.

Most mission runners who ask for change don't take into account WHY things exist in their current form and their requests tend to be intensely self serving and unrealistic.

with high faction standings you can more or less do this already. Bear

the loot value has taken a pretty big hit, but the tags are still worth a good bit. if it was slightly less annoying to loot/salvage I would probably run more of them, especially given how easy it is to repair standings.
