You just gotta look. You have to just open up the market and scroll through every item and look for ones with good volume and good margins.

Buy low/sell high. Keep your taxes and available capital in mind. That is all there really is to it.

Science has no consideration for ultimate purposes.

You'll never become a trillionaire trading high volume tech 2 modules, but you can definitely become a billionaire that way.

The items that will take you from 10 billion to a trillion or more are closely guarded secrets, but you can definitely get from 100m to 1b trading Heavy Neutron Blaster II, 1600mm Reinforced Steel Armor Plate II and Damage Control II.

There is multiple strategies available. You could trade items with high margins and low volumes (could be implants, skills..) or high volume "low margin" items (like t2 modules drones, ammo etc). That's a matter of preference, and playstyle. Buying Low in HUB A and Selling High in Hub B.

I think I have imported a good 40 or 50 billion worth of stuff from Jita to Dodixie in the last month for resale, mostly the bits that go into building Ishtars.

Haulers seem somewhat afraid to go through Uedama these days. Doesn't bother me - I just pay twice what I used to pay for 103-105% collateralized courier contracts. Usually the stuff gets there, but sometimes the hauler has an accident, and I don't really care either way. But there's definitely less competitors now.

I'm not vouching for the accuracy/timeliness of this entire page, but this is an interesting read that might get you moving/thinking in the right directions.

And if nothing else, it'll at least spawn a few people telling you that this is a horrible idea and what you should instead do. :)
