Not quite.

Over-powered. Titan AOE Doomsday circa 2008. Wiping entire fleets off of the field with a single button push through a jump portal.

Under-powered. Current iteration Titan doomsday which can be tanked by a properly fit capital.

Unbalanced. Performs far outside the abilities of other ships/modules in it's class. See Ishtar.

Perfectly Balanced. See unobtainium.

Power Creep. Continuing to add hyper powerful ships into the game which do not fill any need whatsoever. Because new ships.

This is a laughable topic as power creep is built into the game. The basis of the game is the skill system and the longer you are subscribed, not the amount you play, mostly determines your success.

So while other games worry about introducing the +5 vorpal blade of eternia, in EvE you are forced to be subscribed for a very long time if you ever want to pilot the most powerful ships and/ or use the best equipment.

This is why it is important and difficult for EvE to keep new subs. Name another game where you join in only to find out it will be over a year, no matter how much you play, before you can use the best equipment. But wait, there is more. For you to fully utilize all the abilities of said item to it's fullest you have to spend another year, no matter how much you play, to master it.

This is why the bitter vets continually fight against anything that speeds up progression in EvE. Then they do not have to worry about what happens to vets in so many other games, where someone new with skillz can tool on a vet without any.
