No. No faction turret or launcher can use T2 ammo.

best thing about faction launchers with missiles, is that if you dont need the t2 ammo options, they do more dps than T2 even with perfect specalisation, all the faction guns yeild less dps and are thus mostly bunk.

They really need to fix faction weapons. I love how 1 mil t2 guns do more dps than 100 mil faction guns even with t1 ammo.Roll

Just a thought.

Rep fleet guns get a bonus with rep fleet ammo etc.
Domination guns get a bonus with Domination ammo etc.
Amarr guns a bonus with Amarr faction crystals.

Problem solved with simple coding as well.

Not enough to really call it balanced.

Would still be better off putting on a RCU to OR cpu MOD to use tech 2 weapons in most cases.

Large T2 guns are what 7-8M SP or so worth of supports and skills? Yeah, I suspect most people would (rightly) drop some ISK on faction guns while they take care of little things like drone skills. Hell, I had a faction 350mm rail sentry domi when I was a nooblet - worked great.

Ed: Also, for PVE does it even matter how much it costs? 100M is like an extra hour or two of running missions and if it helps the bottom line... wheeeeeeee....

Hey, I underlined the part you missed. And he's right. The question is whether or not you need the T2 missile option. Its arguable with Cruise, but with HAM, HML, and Torps its mandatory.
