I hate dead POSes too

To my knowledge, there isn't much (if any) compelling content provided by dead floating sticks.

Proposal: Use all this new sleeper shenanigans to kill them.

Method:
Have small groups of sleepers randomly shoot all POSes (and possibly POCOs). This should have the effect of wearing them down over time.

Benefits:
No more annoying dead sticks.
Possible source of content (from POCOs) as locals will need to care rather than just collect free isk.
No more absurd moon ownership.

Drawbacks:
No more absurd moon ownership(?)

I'm not a huge lore nerd so I don't know if this fits like a glove, but from what I do know it seems plausible.

If you hate them, wardec their owners and kill their towers. If you cannot do that, get another moon. Surprisingly, I have never had any problems finding an empty moon; rather my problem is finding a moon that looks appealing. Can I kill moons and replace them with more appealing moons? No. But you can destroy POS if you want a spot, or you can go to a different moon.

Been suggested more times than I can be bothered to count. Try searching for your idea before posting it.

Also, no. If you want a POS to go away, shoot it. If it's offline, it can't shoot back.
