Dissappearing Orders

Hi

I have made several buy orders in the market place over the last few weeks that are simply disappearing. The money is out of my account and my order does not show in the 'My Orders' tab and the product is not visible anywhere in any location.

I have logged a few in-game help requests with no response at all. On average my orders aren'y too large, possibly only a few million ISK at a time, but this is a new character for me, so this is about 10-15% of my net worth is being lost, sporadically.

Obviously, this is not a game I want to pay to play if there is a bug like this.

How do I get support?

They must be somewhere, check your assets, you can even search for the items in questions.

I have a feeling that you didn't limit your buy orders to your station, and they could be anywhere (up to within the region you made your buy orders in). That means you have to retrieve them yourself, or hire a freight service to do it.

If that is the case, pay attention to the buy range in the future when making buy orders.

check 'market deliveries' in the hangars

Let me start with stating: no, there's no such bug.

3 possibilities to remedy your situation:

1) Ingame tools
- Open your assets (that's the "boxy" icon)
- Make sure to show "All regios"
= you'll find your assets in an unexpected system/station = what flaming phantom said (you didn't pay attention to your order range setting)

2) Out of game tools
- Hop over to the Tech Lab forum and grab a copy of jEveAssets. That's basically a way better version of the ingame assets window.

3) Corporate orders vs. private orders
If none of the two above do show your items, you most likely sold on behalf of your corop (intenional or not). If so, note that all items sold to a corporation buy order are delivered to the Market Deliveries "storage", so that every corp member can pick them up. Those items do NOT end up in your personal hangar.

Don't open multiple tickets, just be patient and they'll eventually answer in game petitions (they do not look at ones created througnh the website though). I doubt such a bug exists or you would likely hear from people trading hundreds of items across multiple characters who had encountered it.

Is the character making the orders Max Gusher, or another and if so, are they in a corp?

If you still can't find it yourself post your API key and include market transactions, wallet journal and assets and I'll have a look for you.
