Earlier this month I returned to Eve after a 6 month absence. Prior to my departure, I had accumulated around 4m bonus sp due to participation in mass tests. When I logged on after my return I have noticed I no longer have them. Is this something that has happened in error or is the bonus sp periodically wiped?

You missed too many masstests. SP bonus is not permanent but the sum of last five mass test with 2M SP per mass test.
With a new mirror the SP of the last five masstest are reapplied. If you participated in two of the last five, you get 4M. If you participated in none of the last five you get nothing reapplied. Last mirror was in december if I remeber correctly. In the end of last year we had really a lot of masst tests, sometimes weekly.

You can update your SiSi character with skills you trained on TQ since last mirror: Protoype: New way of copying skills from Tranquility to Singularity
NOTE: "The script is only working, when CCP Habakuk3 is in the channel "CopySkills" and it will disabled in the night from ~1:00 to ~3:00."
