OK I'll click this thread. It's been hanging on to GD front page for a few days, I guess it deserves some attention.

How many alts do I have. Well, a pet peeve of mine is when my characters are called alts. I consider them mains. They have their own accounts, they are loved and maintained like any other main. They also get their own screen.

My RP runs deep.

Currently, ****. I haven't taken stock in a while. sec.


The 10 mains formerly known as Rainfleet have a total of 1,375,665,175 SP, and that figure is growing by approximately 26,650 SP per hour. I have four characters from 2003 who are using the 20 days free training to become Covops and Interceptor cyno scouts. I have other characters holding corporations and assets, but none of them have any SP worth mentioning.

9 of my characters are female, and they are wearing the outfit I have in my portrait. Please feel free to scope me out in full body view. My male characters wear default clothing, but have the highest SP in my gang.

Dunno. Male RP never really took off for me. I'm just here to play with very well-skilled Barbies.

I have (had) so many alts, restarts and side projects it's just not healthy. A short while ago I tried to get access to an old char of mine but had forgotten the account name so I made a petition, after some normal back and forth he suddenly went quiet, 2 days later a new GM replies with a very stern "Can you give us a plausible explanation as to why there's 84 accounts linked to the email address you provided?"

I replied with "because I'm a massive altoholic", I also deemed it... wise to not mention I have used more mail addresses throughout the years.

In this particular case this char is an alt atm, a long term project that will turn into my new main in the near future. I have way too many accounts doing way too many things meaning I'm a one man army. It's time for me to consolidate, shed a bunch of old chars and start becoming more active again in the whole teamwork department.

I have a few alts. I use them for different activities in eve and make no effort to hide my identities.

Oddly, I actually act a bit differently on my alts. They have their own personalities.

I had an alt that turned into a main until she got into a super now she's back to an alt.

Feels good to be back on my main after so many years.

I have 3 accounts with 3 characters each. 3 of those 9 characters could be mains, rest are alts.

Not today spaghetti.

Alt is short for Alternative, it's English. Which in turn (as much of English is) is derived from Latin "Alternatus", of the same meaning.

In EVE context It is not connected to any German word.

This is my tertiary Main (or 2nd main Alt). Who has two more alts beneath her.

I tend to have full blown discussions between my alts in corp ... (usually confuses the newbies, and worries the old corp mates)
