This mission is really difficult even with a drake i use
i would like some advice so as to succeed in this mission. I did it several times, never achieved this mission and was obliged to give it up.
The arch angels are very hard to target

Do not use FoF or drones on aggressive and try and pick the triggers and leave them to last.

This is a mission where the trigger for the next spawn tends to be one of the larger ships in the previous spawn and is often a "singleton" a ship with a different type to the rest of its group.

my opinion is to hit the triggers first as the respawns are very far away, and angel ewar isn't a problem. Then kill the leader and warp off and onto the next mission.

It's likely the elite frigates are giving her the problem.

Missile and drone skills are likely below average and thus cannot break the tank of an elite frigate.

Or maybe the OP needs to reconsider their tank mods. This is the sort of mission where you learn the pitfalls of omni-tanking, and random using damage types. You need to fit the damage resist mods Exp and Kin in the case of Angels, and deal Exp and Kin back. It should be doable in a drake with heavy tank with the correct resists, heavy missiles (Kinetic), ballistic control systems, and the like. I'd use Eve Uni's Advanced PVE drake fit as a start, but swap the mid solts with Adaptive Invun, and Thermal Amp for active Kinetic and Explosive resists. Maybe swap one of the shield power relays for a damage control.

It might be good to look at one's missile and shield support skills. Target Nav, Guided Missile Precision, Rapid Launch, Warhead Upgrades, and Heavy Missiles should be at least 3*. Shield Op, and Shield Management are also important. I'd also work on the drone damage skills as you need all the damage you can get on the elite frigates. Don't forget cal battlecruiser as that is a huge boost for the drake

* Personally I consider level 4 to be a minimum on all these skills to fly a Drake well. Outside of Cal BC, and Heavy Missiles skill they are vital for all missile that don't use rockets or torps.

Lot of good replies here, def look up those mission triggers. Its usually the one with a unquie name compared to the rest of the spawn but not always.

I wanted to add that in this mission you will run into cruisers that have ridiculous tanks compared to your average lvl3 cruiser rat. For now just pay attn to triggers and take ur time.

Drop the Drake and get into a Marauder.

There are no such things as Triggers to the Marauder pilot.

Lock the Bastion down and let them come.
