Rattlesnake for Angel 10/10?

I finally got an escalation last night for a 8/10 and I took the rattlesnake and solo'd it. My question is, could the rattle handle solo a 10/10?

I warp in drop MTU, align to station/celestial then MJD. I then stop and deploy a mobile depot swap the MJD for a 4th large extender and start woking smallest to largest with this fit...

I then as needed swap out BCS for Beta Reactor Control: Shield Power Relay I. Once everything is dead I switch back in MJD, scoop the depot, jump back to MTU then slow boat to the gate while the MJD recharges. (I got the machariel BPC last night on first run so pretty much completely paid for my rattler with the 1 run)

This will be temporary as I now switched my training plan to go for the Ishtar and max it out because I dont care for how slow the Rattle is if I have to go 8 jumps from my home system, plus quicker align times and such if the crap hits the fan.

No idea about 10/10s but its an interesting take on a passive snake.

Mine used to tank them on it own but I did used to use a tengu as well to clear them up quicker, but at the start I used to warp it in to take all the aggro and it never had a problem. I used an active tank though and just killed them neuts before it became a problem.
It used to rep I think over 1k every 3 or 4 seconds and was cap stable with about 1150 dps give or take. Can't remember exactly at the moment as I haven't run one for a couple of months.

If you want the fit just mail me in game, it's a bit blingy though.

I am just a newb when it come to combat, but, wouldn't it be faster, and safer to go biggest target to smallest?

The smallest targets are fastest, they can get under your drones guns if you ignore them, they also have the ability to warp scramble and Web you. At max control range the sentries can hit them easily and 1 to 2 shot them, if they get under 20km, the sentries cannot track them, and heavies cannot either. Once that happens you have to send and absurd amount of cruise missiles or send out light drones which are unbonused on the rattlesnake. The frigates then target switcheck to the light drones and blow them up.

Literally at range the sentries take out the small targets faster than you target them. If they get close they take forever to kill. If the battleships make it under 20km launch a gecko and watch then still melt under cruises and drones.

Taking out the swarms of small targets also reduces incoming dps against you substantially.

The only time not to work small to large is if the small targets trigger a new wave of enemies. For that information check eve survival or other sites for spawn information.

Edited to fix typos... autoccorect on phone sucks.

No I always go smallest to largest, anything that can neut/web or scram needs to be killed first no point killing all the big stuff if you are locked down when the 10 neuts arrive into your system.

This is true, you can kill off the small targets and the battleships will still be out around 60km range. Still in sentry range.

Always check out spawn information if you have not run the site previously though. In a c4 wormhole once I started small to large... turned out the smalls spawned remote rep ping battleships. Meanwhile the battleships from initial spawn were still there shooting at me and I got warp scrambled by one or two of the sleepers too. My ship blew up shortly after that. It was a 400 million mistake I won't make again.
